Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 Fourth St., will be holding a free community lunch 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. March 27.

Just show up for a scrumptious hot meal, and spend some time with your Catasauqua neighbors.

Catasauqua American Legion, 330 Second St., has scheduled its monthly all-you-can-eat breakfast for 8 a.m.-noon March 28.

On the menu are scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage links, SOS, home fries, French toast, juice, coffee and tea.

Come out for a delicious breakfast and some camaraderie with friends.

The youth of Holy Trinity Lutheran will be doing the 30-hour famine Easter weekend.

The group will be fasting for 30 hours - noon April 2 through 7 p.m. April 3 - and will fill the time together with learning experiences and fun.

Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., opens April 5 with clothing for spring and summer.

The new hours are 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.

Masks must be worn when entering the shop, and only five customers are allowed in at a time.

Donations of good, used, clean clothing are accepted during store hours. Proceeds are returned to the community through contributions that support youth and adult programs and services.

The Catasauqua High School band and chorus are taking orders for the ongoing monthly hoagie and sandwich fundraiser.

Orders will be due April 6, with delivery April 13.
