Ream, Gomez new Center for Humanistic Change staff

The Center for Humanistic Change announced recently that two local women have been appointed to the center’s staff.

Paula Ream is the new manager of administration. She was previously with CMC Energy Services managing outreach to income-eligible multifamily communities for energy efficiency programs provided by a major Pennsylvania utility company. She was an executive director at The Cancer Support Community, L.V. chapter. She worked in senior positions in development, marketing and government affairs at Third Street Alliance, American Red Cross, Via and KidsPeace. She was on several local nonprofit boards, including the Northampton Area Food Bank, Turning Point of L.V., Valley Search and Rescue and the Northampton Area Chamber of Commerce. Her experience includes fundraising, event management, community relations and communications.

Yessica Gomez is a student assistant liaison. She earned a bachelor’s of arts in public health, with an interest in English studies from Moravian College. She will be addressing social determinates of health and the barriers to health that school children and families face every day.
