Elizabeth “Liz” A. Romig-Gainer, 80, of Bethlehem, died March 20, 2021, at her residence. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Floyd E. and Arlene E. (Keener) Seyfried.
She was the Magisterial District Judge in Bethlehem for over 30 years and Senior Magisterial District Judge for 17 years.
She was a member of Dryland U.C.C., Newburg, church.
She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, VFW, Red Hat Society and Junior Miss Baseball. She was a life member of the Heights Athletic Association. She was a secretary for the Tri County District Judge Association.
She is survived by four children, Cynthia and her husband James Brown Jr. of Bethlehem, Gerald and his wife Elisa of Eagle River, Ark.; Richard Jr. and his wife Joanne of Franklinton, N.C. and Patricia Romig-Passaro of Bethlehem; three brothers, Gerald Seyfried, Harold Seyfried and Charles Seyfried; a sister-in-law, Carolyn M. Gainer; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Seyfried; a granddaughter; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be private.
