The Lehigh County Aging and Adult Services is now accepting nominations for the 21st annual Unsung Heroes event.

To celebrate Older American’s Month, the Office of Aging and Adult Services recognizes Lehigh County residents, age 60 and older who have displayed exceptional generosity with their time and talent to enhance the lives of others and their community.

Unsung Hero finalists will be honored throughout the month of May.

To be eligible for consideration:

·Must be at least 60 years of age.

·Must be a Lehigh County resident.

·Achievements, accomplishments or service must be performed on a volunteer basis, not paid.

·Have performed outstanding contributions or services that promoted, enhanced and enriched the quality of life for others.

Nomination forms must be postmarked by April 9.
