Dietrich’s Meats and Country Store sponsored a spectacular fireworks display March 13 in honor of Verna Dietrich’s 90th birthday at the Kempton Community Center.
The celebration was also a way to thank the store’s customers for their support during these difficult times during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Originally set to be set off at 7:45 p.m., the fireworks were delayed till 8:30 p.m. due to the overwhelming number of vehicles still trickling along the roadways leading into the community center.
