Caroline M. Dorney, 91, of Orefield, died March 14, 2021, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She was the wife of the late Harold Dorney Jr.

Born Feb. 22, 1930, in Breinigsville, she was the daughter of the late Levi B. Sr. and Ida M. (Sherer) Peters.

She was a member of Jordan Evangelical Lutheran Church, Orefield.

Her survivors include a daughter Carole A. Dorney of Orefield, with whom she resided; son David L. Dorney Sr. (Tammy) of New Tripoli; brothers Frederick F., Levi B. Jr., James A. and Sherman R. Peters; sisters Katherine W. Frey and MaryAnn M. Mains; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; and one great-great-granddaughter.

She was predeceased by siblings Paul J. Peters, Pauline M. Trumbauer, Betty A. Gruber and Edna G. Diehl.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. March 18 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with the Rev. Dody S. Siegfried officiating.

Family and friends may pay their respects 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home.

Interment will follow the service at Jordan Lutheran Church Cemetery, Orefield.
