Vehicle theft

A 2001 white Ford F-250 Supercab pickup truck was removed from outside a residence in the 6800 block of Pioneer Driver, Lower Macungie Township, between 2 p.m. March 7 and 4:50 a.m. March 8, according to Pennsylvania State Pennsylvania Fogelsville. Various construction tools, valued at $300 and an 18-volt drill, valued at $200, also were taken. The truck displayed the registration plate ZDK 3672 at the time it was removed.

DUI

Corey James Pramik, 39, of Perkasie, was allegedly determined to be driving under the influence of a controlled substance after troopers responded to U.S. Route 222 South near North Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, for the report of a vehicle not responding at the traffic light 11:57 a.m. Jan. 8, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The driver was then taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, for additional treatment.

David Sterling Iobst, 54, of Emmaus, was allegedly driving under the influence when his vehicle allegedly drifted out of the lane of travel while driving home and collided with another vehicle at Limeport Pike and Beverly Hills Road, Lower Milford Township, 10:30 p.m. Jan. 29 according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Iobst allegedly fled the scene.

Hit and run

A 28-year-old male was hurt when he was struck by a vehicle while walking in a Hamilton Boulevard crosswalk at North Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 4 p.m. Feb. 25, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The driver allegedly fled the accident scene westbound on Hamilton Boulevard. The male who was hit refused medical transport. Cetronia EMS also responded.

A gray sedan allegedly fled the scene of a car accident at the intersection of Limeport Pike and Chestnut Hill Church Road, Lower Milford Township, 7:52 a.m. Feb. 10, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The sedan turned left on Limeport Pike from Chestnut Hill Road, striking a vehicle eastbound on Limeport Pike. A third vehicle traveling west on Limeport Pike swerved to avoid the other vehicles and hit a snow bank. The gray sedan fled the scene eastbound on Limeport Pike.

Simple assault

A 14-year-old female allegedly repeatedly kicked a 63-year-old female at a location in the 2700 block of Rolling Green Place, Lower Macungie Township, 6:15 p.m. Feb. 25, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The older person sustained a cut to her shin. The older female also fell over two potted plants during the altercation. Macungie Ambulance Corps also responded.

Theft

A FedEx package containing a $500 BMW rim was removed from a residence in the 3900 block of Main Road West, Upper Milford Township, sometime between Feb. 20 and 25, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The package was confirmed as delivered but was not received.

Identity theft

A resident of the 5000 block of Rainbow Court, Lower Macungie Township, reported a $5,000 loan opened in Minnesota in the resident’s name in October 2019, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Jan. 26.

A resident of the 5600 block of Wedge Lane, Lower Macungie Township, reported personal information was used to file a fraudulent pandemic unemployment assistance claim totaling $12,705, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Feb. 25.

A resident of the 6800 block of Scenic View Drive, Lower Macungie Township, reported personal identification was compromised 8:25 p.m. Jan. 27, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
