Robert C. Mills, 71, of Macungie, formerly of Bethlehem, died March 13, 2021, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown campus. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Richard W. and June B. (Pursell) Mills.

He was a graduate of Penn State University and Liberty High School.

He was a lab technician in research and development for many years at Tarkett Flooring, formerly known as GAF, Whitehall.

He was an avid history reader and miniature war gamer. He enjoyed hunting with his brothers, spending time with his sister and bowling. He was a true Philadelphia sports fan, following the Phillies, Iron Pigs and Eagles.

He is survived by siblings, Richard, Roy and his wife, Diane and Claire Shoemaker; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by siblings, Jane Loch, Jeanette Townsend and Nancy Schick.

Services will be held 1 p.m. March 17 at the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Homes, 17th and Hamilton Streets, Allentown. A viewing will be held noon to 1 p.m. March 17 in the funeral home.
