Hokendauqua: Game night planned

First Presbyterian Church of Hokendauqua is planning a game night 7 p.m. March 19 on Zoom. Two games are planned: Family Feud and bingo.

Hokendauqua Park and Playground Association has extended registrations for baseball and softball. In-person sign-ups are 9-11 a.m. March 20 at the pavilion on Lehigh Street. Bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate (for first-time players), proof of insurance and contact information.

Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3355 MacArthur Road, will be providing more than 15 food boxes to families in need for Easter. Food items needed includes hams, gravy, sweet potatoes, vegetables, cake mixes and icing. Drop off your donations 8 a.m.-1 p.m. at the church office by March 26. The boxes are going out March 29.

If you know a family that could use a food box, provide the name and contact information to Rosemarie Haffner at 610-432-1043.
