Gary P. Renner, 83, of Northampton, died March 3, 2021, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Theresa M. (Marakovits) Renner.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Walter and Violet (Herzog) Smith.

He was in the U.S. Navy.

He was a computer programmer for the former Western Electric.

He was a member of Queenship of Mary Church, Northampton.

He is survived by two sons, Michael J. and his wife Evelyn and Matthew J. and his wife Barbara; three grandchildren, Meghan, Noah and Evan; and a niece, Linda Wallitsch.

He was predeceased by a sister, Leatrice Wallitsch.
