Northampton Area High School students have the opportunity to do some volunteering. Students can visit volunteerlv.org to find opportunities.

Looking ahead, spring break starts April 1 and continues through April 5. Schools will reopen April 6.

Northampton Area School District is in need of substitute teachers. Whether you have a teaching degree or a bachelor’s degree in any area, you can be of service. Daily rate is $110.

Northampton Area Middle School’s daily attendance error correction form is available online on the district’s website at nasdschools.org; follow the link to NAMS. This form should be completed and submitted by any student who believes their daily school attendance has been incorrectly recorded for any given eLearning or online date.

Please note, you will be required to include screen shots of work completed on the date in question. The screen shots must show the student’s name, time and date for any submitted assignment in question.

Online registration for kindergarten and first grade is underway.

To register your child online, visit the NASD website. Click the 2021-22 Kindergarten Registration link on the left side and follow the directions. When visiting the registration link, you will find all the health requirements and other important information.

For admission to kindergarten, the child must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1. For admission to first grade, the child must be 6 years old on or before Sept. 1. Children currently enrolled in kindergarten in NASD do not need to register for first grade.
