Alexander A. Zarnas

Alexander A. “Alex” Zarnas, 36, of Emmaus, died March 11, 2021, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, with his wife by his side. He and his wife, Amanda K. (Blanco), celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary in October. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of Stephen M. Zarnas and Eileen F. (Swankoski) Stein and was of the Christian faith.

He was a 2003 graduate of Parkland High School and 2007 graduate of Bloomsburg University, where he was a founding father of Kappa Sigma Omicron Psi Chapter.

Involved in the insurance business for the last 14 years, he was a co-founder and partner of Lehigh Valley Insurance Brokers, alongside his brother, Michael.

He will be long remembered for his charming, charismatic personality, his sense of humor and his willingness to help others. He was not one to sit still or to stop learning; he was always immersing himself into new hobbies and projects, while teaching his children these new skills.

He enjoyed the outdoors, fitness and nutrition, flying radio-controlled planes and designing and constructing projects for his home and family. His greatest joy in life was the beautiful family he built with his wife.
