Patricia M. (D’Orsi) Casciano, 100, of Lehighton and formerly of Fountain Hill, died March 9, 2021, at her daughters’ residence. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Feliciano and Grace (Ianuzzi). She was the wife of the late Dennis “Cass” Casciano.

She was a 1938 graduate of Bethlehem Catholic H.S. and attended Bethlehem Business College.

She worked in the offices at Bethlehem Steel for over 35 years before she retired.

She was involved with the former Most Holy Rosary and Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Churches and also with St. Ursula Catholic Church, all of Bethlehem. She was secretary of the sodality for many years. She was a lifelong member of the American Legion Post 406, Fountain Hill, and Post 314 of Lehighton, after turning 100 and being a member for over 74 years. She was an officer for the Sons of Italy for over 50 years. She was a past member of the Golden Hillers and the Friendship Club. She was a Brownie and Girl Scout leader in Fountain Hill.

She is survived by a son, Anthony F. (JoAnn) of Hellertown; a daughter, Celeste C. (Thomas) Silvonek of Lehighton; four grandchildren, Lisa, Thomas II, Michael and Tony; and eight great-grandchildren, Alaina, Thomas III, Vito, Tyler, Neeko, Mia, Cara and Owen.
