Kathleen M. Miller, 86, formerly of Allentown, died March 1, 2021, in Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem.

She was the wife of the late Robert R. Miller.

Born Feb. 9, 1935, in Manilla, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Erma B. (Summerfeldt) Teckenburg.

She faithfully and honorably served her country in the U.S. Army during a peacetime era.

A nursing technician at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, for 30 years, she retired in 2007.

She was a member of St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Allentown, where she was a craft group leader and volunteered in the church kitchen. She also volunteered at the former Allentown State Hospital.

Her survivors include a daughter Donna M. Funk of Allentown; son Dale R. Miller of Northampton; grandson Spec. First Class Adam Funk, U.S. Army and his wife, Michele, of Fort Lewis, Wash.; brother Daryl Teckenburg of Oregon; sisters Janice Franks Morgan and Loa Teckenburg, both of Illinois; and niece Gladys Polgar of Orefield.

She was predeceased by siblings Donald, Daniel, David and Martha Teckenburg.
