Dennis W. Hausman, 63, of Orefield, formerly of Bethlehem, died March 5, 2021, in Cedarbrook Senior Care and Rehabilitation, South Whitehall Township.

Born Oct. 8, 1957, in Fountain Hill, he was the son of the late Curtis A. and Mary Jane (Rush) Hausman.

He was a grocery bagger at the former George’s Foodliner, Giant Food Stores and Weis Markets.

Before that, he delivered newspapers for the former Bethlehem Globe Times.

He participated in Special Olympics, was a former member of the Boy Scouts of America and was an avid bowler ... back in the day!

He was a member of Faith Wesleyan Church, Orefield.

His survivors include a sister Louise D. Steager, with whom he resided; brother Bruce A. Hausman and his wife, Tina, of Allentown; nephews Jacob R. and Tyler R. Steager; nieces Rebecca L. Hausman, Karissa A. Hausman and her fiancé, Mike Zangardi.

Family and friends may pay their respects 6-7:30 p.m. March 11 in Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville.

A private graveside service will be held Friday at Bethlehem Memorial Park.
