Walter Chayka, 75, of Northampton, died Feb. 25, 2021.

Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late George A. and Marian G. (Tychy) Chayka.

He was in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict.

He was retired from Western Electric/AT&T where he was a machinist.

He was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Northampton.

He is survived by two cousins, Robert Wilkins and Ann Marie Macrea and her husband Barry.

He was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy A. Chayka.
