Sheckler Elementary School recently celebrated Read Across America by having each grade decorate their hallways and playing a Dr. Seuss trivia game hosted by Principal Eric Dauberman.

Kindergarten registration for Sheckler’s 2021-22 school year is now open. Eligible children must live within the boundaries of CASD and be turning 5 years old before Sept. 1.

Both remote and in-person learning for all five school days are available options.

Sheckler is looking to hire a noncertified instructional aide. The main responsibility will be to provide assistance and support to classroom teachers in the delivery of the board-approved curriculum.

The workday consists of seven hours of paid work time and 30 minutes of unpaid/unassigned lunch.
