Northampton police responded to these and other calls recently.

JAN. 16

A noise complaint of loud music in the 1500 block of Railroad Street was reported.

Police checked on the welfare of a male in the 1700 block of Main Street and on a female on West 21st Street.

Officers assisted Bethlehem police in the 1600 block of Nor-Bath Boulevard.

A reportable accident involving two vehicles occurred in the 1800 block of Main Street.

On West 21st Street, a reportable accident involved one vehicle.

Officers responded to a neighbor complaint in the 2300 block of Washington Avenue.

In the 2100 block of Washington Avenue, police responded to a complaint of fireworks.

JAN. 17

Criminal mischief in the 900 block of Washington Avenue was reported.

A report of a suspicious male in the 300 block of East Ninth Street was investigated.

JAN. 18

A vehicle was towed in the 1500 block of Washington Avenue.

Officers assisted a male in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue and females in the 2100 block of Washington Avenue and in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue.

Suspicious activity in the 1000 block of Main Street and in the 2300 block of Dewey Avenue was investigated.

Police responded to a report of a suspicious male in the 100 block of West 29th Street.

Packages were reported stolen in the 1800 block of Washington Avenue.

JAN. 19

A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 block of East 21st Street.

At 1620 Main St., police investigated a report of a male shoplifting.

Members of the department responded to a bank fraud case in the 300 block of West 27th Street.

JAN. 20

At East 18th Street and Washington Avenue, a vehicle was towed.

In the 2100 block of Washington Avenue, a disturbance was investigated.

JAN. 21

A child custody issue in the 2100 block of Washington Avenue was reported.

Police checked on the welfare of females in the 1700 block of Northampton Avenue and in the 2100 block of Washington Avenue.

Civil matters in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue and in the 1300 block of Newport Avenue were investigated.

On West 21st Street, a disturbance had police at the scene.

JAN. 22

Domestic disputes between a male and a female occurred in the 2300 block of Washington Avenue and on West 10th Street.

Police checked on the welfare of males in the 1700 block of Main Street, in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue and in the 100 block of East 21st Street.

Officers responded to a neighbor complaint in the 1400 block of Poplar Street.

JAN. 23

Police checked on the welfare of a female in the 1500 block of Washington Avenue.

Members of the department assisted a male in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue.

A hit and run took place in the 1700 block of Washington Avenue. A legally parked vehicle was struck, damaging the driver-side front door and right front fender. A white truck was seen on a surveillance camera pulling up alongside the vehicle and there was no visible damage. When the truck pulled away, there was visible damage, police said.

A report of an explosion in the 200 block of East 21st Street brought out police.
