Makenzie Jane Ward, 22, died March 2, 2021. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Deborah A. Ward.

She worked for Stanley Sweeping out of Kutztown for five years and previously worked for H&K Road Construction.

She was currently enrolled at Lehigh Carbon Community College, studying criminal law and held a CDL license.

She loved cactus, pickles and diesel off road mudding trucks.

She is survived by her mother; siblings, William T. Hummer III, Mason W. Hummer and Ryanne S. Gable; boyfriend, Shawn Schwoyer; maternal grandparents, Charles C. II and Winifrede; an uncle, Charles C. IV; cousins, Charles Cooper V, Gabrielle and Kaitlyn; godmothers, Michelle Rich and Beckie Paul; faithful companions, her dog, Rex and kitten, Peanut. She was predeceased by a sister, Samantha L..
