James W. Pelkey, 72, of Zionsville, died Feb. 19, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Wilbur L. and Anna M. (Furhosel) Pelkey.

He was employed at Knoll International in East Greenville in various capacities until retiring.

He was a 1965 graduate of Emmaus High School.

He was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Pennsburg.

He was a simple man, who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. In his younger years, he enjoyed camping, boating and fishing at the Delaware seashore with family and friends.

He is survived by an aunt, Agnes Furhosel; an uncle, Andy Labanz; many cousins; his beloved dog, Princess.
