There is no school for students in the Whitehall-Coplay School District March 12. This is a professional development day for teachers.

Whitehall High School London Club is helping Whitehall-Coplay Hunger Initiative by collecting cereal boxes for those in need. The food drive theme is called “cereal box Dominoes.” Club members are hoping to line up and knock down a line of cereal boxes as far as they can go.

Please help them by donating. Students should take their donations to room B113 by March 19.

WHS Anime Club has a food drive underway for the month of March. Students are encouraged to bring in canned goods to Dr. Figueroa’s room.

Spring picture day at Steckel Elementary School is coming soon. Photographers from Christmas City Studio will be at the school March 18.

Order forms will be sent home with students in early March. Students will need to register online in order to have their photo taken.

Vision and hearing referral letters were sent home to all children who did not pass these screenings. Parents/guardians, please remember to send in the completed form when your child has been to the specialist. If financial assistance is needed for eye care, call your school nurse for more information.
