Anna E. Kantner, of Northampton, died March 2, 2021. She was the wife of Joseph Kantner for 60 years.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Anna Godiska.

She was a 1958 graduate of Central Catholic High School, Allentown.

She was chosen by Msgr. Leo Fink to teach third grade at Sacred Heart School, Allentown, where she taught from 1958 to 1960. She worked for Western Electric 1978-2000 and retired from Lucent Technologies.

She was a volunteer at the former St. Lawrence the Martyr Church, Catasauqua, where she sang on the choir and was a member of the Renew group. She collected for Catholic Charities.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Joseph with Kristin and Robert; a daughter, Ellen Pharo with Don; three grandsons, James, Matt and Andrew; a granddaughter, Laura; a brother, John; a sister; Rosemary Oswald with Frank; nieces; and nephews.
