East Allen Township will be starting a farmers market in May at Bicentennial Park West.

It is expected to be open 3-7 p.m. Wednesdays.

Local farmers and vendors with one-of-a-kind items will have displays.

There is no cost to vendors who wish to participate, but proof of insurance is required.

Those farmers and vendors interested in being part of the farmers market are asked to contact Frantz at recreation@eatwp.org or 484-347-8331.

East Allen Township Fire Department, 5354 Nor Bath Blvd., is holding a raffle noon-4 p.m. May 16. It is expected to be an in-person event.

The drawing will take place 4:30 p.m. Prizes will be awarded. If not present, prizes can be picked up May 17 at the station.

St. John’s United Church of Christ, Howertown, 22 Atlas Road, is resuming in-person worship 9 a.m. Masks are required, and social-distancing protocol will be followed.
