New Tripoli resident Reagan Hernandez, a senior at Northwestern Lehigh High School, was honored as Allentown West Rotary Club’s February Student of the Month during a recent Zoom meeting.
“Reagan is a leader in and out of the classroom,” High school counselor Erica Gross said. “She is president of her class and plays varsity field hockey as well as a volunteer youth coach.”

She is also a member of National Honor Society and Science National Honor Society,
“Reagan is highly respected by teachers and peers,” Gross said.
Hernandez’s future plans are to attend the University of Pittsburgh, majoring in biology and physical therapy.
Her parents, Sheri and Todd Hernandez, attended the virtual meeting with her.
Allentown West Rotary Club has been meeting virtually for almost a year, and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.
Members and guests are joining meetings from as far away as Japan, Mongolia, Florida and Arizona.
Guests are always welcome.
Even with this unusual year, the club has increased membership and continues its service projects, feeding the hungry, and raising money for many ongoing projects.
