Kalmbach Park

Zentangle® Art class offered

Kalmbach Park will host a Zentangle® art class via Zoom 7 to 8 p.m. March 3. Registration for the class is required and available through the website Kalmbachpark.com.

Hilary Smith will lead the presentation.

Class supplies include thick paper, a black pen, a pencil and a blending stick or cotton swab.

According to organizers, Zentangle® is an easy to learn, non-representational, meditative drawing form, which allows the participant to access the visually creative part of the brain. Using patterns built on simple shapes, artwork quickly emerges.

This art practice is approached with a mindful, nonjudgmental attitude, with no expectation for outcome.

The only requirement is to have an open, curious mind.
