Thomas J. Reilly, 74, of Macungie, formerly of Lower Nazareth Township, died suddenly Feb. 21, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. He was the loving companion of Lidda Kennedy for more than 20 years. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was a son of the late Peter and Catherine (Kane) Reilly.
After graduating from Erasmus Hall High School, Brooklyn, he honorably served in the United States Army during Vietnam.
Following a successful 30-year career with New York Life, he retired from the information technology department at the Clinton, N.J. office. During his retirement, he enjoyed working part-time at Rodale Child Care Center with school-age kids.
Baseball was his passion and he loved playing in organized leagues, which he actively participated in well into his late 40s.
He is survived by his companion; sons, Steven and his wife, Kathleen, of Moore Township and Paul and his wife, Sandra, of Pen Argyl; a daughter, Karen and her husband, Frank Sarosi, of Bethlehem Township; grandchildren, Kody, Kaylee, Colin and Justin; a brother, Brendan and his wife, Agnes, of New Milford, N.J.; former wife, Susan (Giaco), of Emmaus; nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Feb. 25 in the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, LLC, 2165 Community Drive, Route 946, in the Village of Moorestown - Bath, 18014. Friends and relatives are invited to call 10 to 11 a.m. Feb. 25 in the funeral home. COVID-19 protocols will apply.
