Smoothie King, a nutrient-focused franchise, has planted a new location in Whitehall and is already growing a steady crowd.

The juice spot, at 2701 MacArthur Road, is a unique addition to the shops as it pioneers in the realm of healthy quick-meals options. The smoothie-centric menu offers a wide selection of blended beverages that come in an array of colors, flavors and nutritional benefits.

The franchise has recently revitalized its menu with its Clean Blends promise - adding more whole fruits and organic vegetables to the smoothies and banning any additive sugars and artificial preservatives.

The smoothies are divided into four sections with different health goals in mind, such as Slim for diet watchers, Fitness for post workouts, Wellness to boost the body’s health and Break Time for treats and rewards. The juice shop also offers an assortment of boosting enhancers that can be added to any order, such as keto protein and fiber blends.

This is the first Smoothie King to join the Lehigh Valley and only the fourth to open statewide. Humza Tanvir, owner of the new location, has been part of the franchise since 2017 and owns four other sites in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Before his franchise debut, Tanvir worked as a computer-software consultant in an office-style setting. He turned to smoothies as meal replacers. The product changed his dietary life and motivated him to open franchises that would help spread the health and wellness mindset.

Tanvir extends his gratitude to all of the people who came to support his new business during the grand opening Jan. 5.

Customers have several ordering options - mobile, in-store and drive-thru pickup.

The shop’s business hours are 7 a.m.-9 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, 8 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturdays and 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Sundays.
