Lehigh County District Attorney Jim Martin announced Feb. 11 that charges have been filed from a crash that occurred Sept. 19, 2019.

According to Martin, on Sept. 19, 2019, approximately 3:30 a.m., Pennsylvania State Police were called to a two-vehicle crash on State Route 22 West and Airport Road in Hanover Township, Lehigh County. Police said a car driven by Delgado had struck the rear of a second vehicle. A passenger inside Delgado’s car was found nearby with “serious injuries to her face and extremities.”
Authorities said the victim had been ejected during the crash and suffered serious injuries that included multiple fractures and lacerations.
At the time of the crash, Delgado’s car was traveling a minimum of “117 miles per hour” and his blood-alcohol content was above the legal limit to drive in Pennsylvania, authorities said.
