George Taylor House volunteers are busy making plans for fun events to hold in the spring.

An open house is planned for April 3.

A Mother’s Day luncheon and sewing circle event is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. May 8. There is a tax-deductible, required donation that includes materials and the luncheon. Seating is limited to 12 people.

Plans are being made for a July 4 celebration. Ideas are welcome. A winery tour has already been booked.

Early planning is in the work for the annual Ghosts and Haunts event Oct. 29. Taylor House Brewing Company is expected to be at the event.

Reportedly, there was some confusion of the status of the 501(c)3. The documentation was filed Feb. 5. The process will take about a month.

Jason Kerr has worked to get grants prepared for the porch and for research.

There will be a sewing session 10 a.m. March 20 to get window curtains. There will be portable sewing machines.
