Elmer D. Mory, 88, of Emmaus, died Feb. 20, 2021, in his home. He was the husband of the late Doris V. (Wilfinger) Mory. Born in Emmaus, he was the son of the late Elmer A. and Mamie (Ziegler) Mory.

He honorably served his country in the Army during the Korean War.

He worked as a supervisor for General Machine, in the maintenance department for East Penn School District, retiring in 2000. After retirement, he was a starter for Center Valley Golf Course and worked in the pro shop at Lehigh Country Club.

He was a member of Emmaus VFW Post and the Mercantile Club of Emmaus.

He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church,

He is survived by sons, Michael D. and his wife, Michelle, of Zionsville and Christopher J. and his wife, Deirdre, of Lower Macungie Township; grandchildren, Logan, Emmy, Kimberly, Brent and Liam.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Feb. 25 in St. Ann Catholic Church, 415 S. Sixth St., Emmaus. Visitation 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
