Bruce D. Bear, 84, of Emmaus, died Feb. 20, 2021, in his home. He was the companion of Barbara A. Ettinger. Born in Emmaus, he was the son of the late Harold and Edith (Brahler) Bear.

He honorably served his country in the Army. He was a purchasing agent for Bally Case and Cooler, the former Ross Bicycle Shop and Allen Organ. He also was a bus driver for the former Holiday Travel and the former Bieber Bus.

He was a member of Grace U.C.C., Allentown.

He is survived by his companion; children, Robin L. and her husband, Frank Steinhofer, of Breinigsville, Scott L. and his wife, Debbie, of Lake Mary, Fla., Gregory B., of Emmaus and Jody A. Husar, of West Palm Beach, Fla.; grandsons, Matthew A. Wieder and his wife, Jessica, of Macungie and Mark D. Wieder, of Schnecksville; a great-grandson, Liam A. Wieder. He was predeceased by a brother, Junior.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Feb. 26 in the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
