The District 11 wrestling tournaments will take place this weekend, but won’t be at their normal sites in Bethlehem.

District chairman Bob Hartman announced the plan of action for the individual postseason over the weekend with districts, regionals and the newly added super regionals all set.

The 3A tournament will move to Parkland this Saturday and Sunday, while the 2A tournament will take place at the Charles Chrin Community Center in Palmer Township on the same days.

The 3A tournament will feature 16-man brackets with the top-three from each class advancing to regionals. In 2A, the top-two wrestlers will move to regionals.

Regionals is scheduled to take place on Feb. 27 with the 3A Northeast tournament taking place at the Charles Chrin Community Center, while the 2A Southeast regional will move to Central Dauphin.

Super regionals will take place March 6 with the 3A tournament heading to Quakertown and the 2A tourney moving to Pottsville’s Martz Hall.

Four wrestlers from each class will advance from regionals to super regionals, as will four wrestlers from super regionals moving onto states.
