Robert “Bob” Reichard, 74, of Lower Macungie Township, died Feb. 8, 2021, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Barbara (Hixson) Reichard. They were married for 51 years. Born in Lower Macungie Township, he was the youngest son of the late Allen H. and Perma A. (Merkle) Reichard.

He graduated from Emmaus High School in 1963. He was a member of the football team.

He worked for PPL as a distribution engineering technician.

He was a member of The Old Time Plowboys Club and Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church.

He is survived by his wife, of Allentown; a daughter, Sue, of Orefield; a grandson, Toby Allen, of Orefield; a brother, William H., of Emmaus. He was predeceased by a brother, Ronald A., of Allentown.
