Michael L. Spagna, 77, of Macungie, formerly a 46-year resident of Hatboro, died Feb. 7, 2021, at Phoebe Ministries, Allentown. He was the beloved husband of Maureen (Schneider) Spagna with whom he shared 46 years of marriage. Born in South Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Dr. Francis and Mafalda Spagna.
He was an avid reader and visitor to the library who was constantly learning. He liked making people laugh and remained a kid at heart no matter his age.
He served as a tank driver in the PA Army National Guard.
He enjoyed working for Smith-Klein in King of Prussia and GMAC in Horsham before his retirement.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Kevin and his wife, Jaime; grandchildren, Connor and Justin; sisters, Gilda and her husband, Art Giangalini, Frances and Lucrezia. He was predeceased by a brother, Dr. Paschal and a sister, Maria Russo.
Memorials may be made in his name to Phoebe Ministries, Allentown and Alzheimer’s Association, Delaware Valley Chapter.
Arrangements were made by the Schneider Funeral Home, Hatboro.
