Margaret T. Coringrato, 98, of Luther Crest Independent Living, Allentown, and formerly of Whitehall, died Feb. 2, 2021. She was the wife of the late Ettore J. Coringrato for 61 years.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Neuherz) Werner.

She was a 1942 graduate of Allentown High School.

She was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, Whitehall, where she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society.

She is survived by two daughters, Joan Shafer and her husband Jeffrey of Whitehall and Jane O’Malley and her husband Anthony Jr. of Center Valley; a son, Ettore J. Jr. and his wife Janet of Fogelsville; six sisters-in-law, Natalie Brown, Jean Brinker and Janet, Mary, Patricia and Carol Coringrato; six grandchildren, Lauren Shafer Greenberg with David, Benjamin Shafer with Amanda, Brian Coringrato, Katherine Coringrato, Jill O’Malley and Ryan O’Malley; and a great-granddaughter, Sloane Shafer.

She was predeceased by five brothers, Joseph, Walter, William, Alfred and Frank; and a sister, Mary.
