Grace Elizabeth Loeffler

Grace Elizabeth Loeffler, 62, RN, BSN, M.Ed., of Macungie, died Jan. 30, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. Born in Shenandoah, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Grace (Goudge) Loeffler.

She graduated from Ashland State General Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1979, received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from DeSales University and earned a master’s degree in education from Temple University.

She was currently employed as the director of academic and special programs at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute where she worked for the last 28 years. Previously she was employed as a registered nurse at Lehigh Valley Hospital, in Salisbury Township.

She enjoyed helping people and spent her career doing just that.

She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and loved researching genealogy, going on vacation and home improvement projects.

Her family was the most important thing to her and she spent as much time with them as possible. Whether it was Sunday night dinner, going on a vacation to the beach or some far away place, she was always with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She loved to babysit her granddaughter every chance she had.

She is survived by sons, Jordan Guldin, Aaron Guldin and his partner, Hilary Schnabel; granddaughter, Nancy Guldin; a sister, Joanne Brentari; faithful companion, Ireland. She was predeceased by a brother, Frank.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring of 2021. Arrangements were made by the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Emmaus.
