LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

Snow dogs

By LOU WHEELAND

Special to The Press

There’s nothing like 2 feet of snow to bring out plows, shovels, snow throwers and ... dogs!

Following the record snow for the Lehigh Valley on Feb. 1, several dogs brought their humans to the fenced parking lot at the Lehigh Valley Sports Fields in Cetronia.

Thanks to the Lehigh County Sports Fields Foundation, the area can be used as a de facto dog park, providing owners clean up after their canines.

No, that's not a snow plow. It's Houdini, a 150-pound French Mastiff from Allentown.
