Kid to Kid Club donations for Turning Point accepted through Feb. 19

Emmaus High School Kid to Kid Club donations for Turning Point will be accepted through Feb. 19. Students can access their school account for a listing of needed items.

There will be a girls varsity basketball game against Parkland 1 p.m. Feb. 13 at Parkland High School. Then, they will have a home game against Parkland 7 p.m. Feb 15 at EHS in the main gym.

Boys varsity basketball will have a game 1 p.m. Feb. 13 against Parkland, played in the main gym of EHS. Also, they will play Salisbury 7 p.m. Feb. 16 at home.

There will be a rifle team state team match 1 p.m. Feb. 18 at Southern Lehigh High School.

Emmaus’ very own Buzz magazine holds weekly meetings 2:30 p.m. every Thursday after school.

The Young Republican’s Club has meetings 2:30 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of every month after school. Students interested in politics are welcome to attend.

Kutztown University’s Art and Design Department will conduct an EHS exclusive virtual portfolio review workshop. This is a great opportunity mainly for AP art students to learn what it is like in said major, potential jobs post graduation, as well as help and lead students configuring their portfolios.

Habitat for Humanity will have a meeting Feb. 16 via Zoom in the club’s Schoology.

Winners/honorable mentions of the Scholastic Writing Awards were announced on the EHS web page; congratulations to all recipients.
