The weekly curbside meal distribution had a change for this week. Due to the possibility of snow Feb. 11, Catasauqua Area School District changed the pickup to Feb. 10. There is no pickup Feb. 11.

Distributions normally run 9:45-10:15 a.m. Thursdays in front of Sheckler Elementary School.

Sheckler Elementary School will be closed Feb. 12 and 15 for the Presidents Day holiday.

Sheckler students will be celebrating spirit day Feb 19. Students and staff are encouraged to wear CASD colors.

Reminder: The Wild West Scholastic book fair begins Feb. 21 and continues through March 6. The event will be offered both in person and virtually through a 360 online shop.

All book-only online orders exceeding $25 will receive free shipping.

Students will be able to make in-person purchases during their Library Expressive scheduled times; online students will have an opportunity to shop in person March 1-5.

Sheckler is looking to hire a noncertified instructional aide. The main responsibility will be to provide assistance and support to classroom teachers in the delivery of the board-approved curriculum.

The workday consists of seven hours of paid work time and 30 minutes of unpaid/unassigned lunch.
