Scott G. Witmer, 71, of Allentown, died Jan. 31, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Freda (Martin) Witmer. Born in York, he was a son of Marion (Wagner) Witmer, of Macungie, and the late H. Glenn Witmer.
He was president of ServiceMaster of Allentown, located in Emmaus, a janitorial and residential cleaning business that today is operated by his daughter, Alexandria, and her husband, Nevin.
He was an active member of Faith Church, Trexlertown, where he served in the music ministry at various times as choir director or lending his voice to the tenor section.
He is survived by his wife; mother; a son, Brenton, of Humble, Texas and a daughter, Alexandria and her husband, Nevin Schueck, of Macungie; grandchildren, Brady, Cale, Sullivan and Sutton and Danica and Noelle Schueck; mother; sisters, Pam (Tom) Bell, of Indialantic, Fla., and Shelley (Allen) Lavoie, of Emmaus. He was predeceased by a sister, Stacia.
Contributions may be made in his honor to an animal charity organization of your choice.
Due to the current pandemic, there will be no funeral services at this time. A memorial service will be held in the summer to honor his memory. Arrangements were made by the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Homes, Emmaus.
