Marjorie R. Shoemaker, 88, formerly of Wescosville, died Jan. 30, 2021, in Phoebe Home. She was the wife of the late Carl W. Shoemaker. Born in Phillipsburg, N.J., she was the daughter of the late William and Helen (Simons) Arndt.

She was a graduate of Kutztown High School. She was a loving homemaker.

She was a member of Longswamp U.C.C., where she sang in the choir for many years and was a member of the Emmaus Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by a son, Lee C. and his wife, Marilyn, of Wescosville; daughters, Rev. Lynn, of Macungie and Sally and her husband, Keith Hosfeld, of Wescosville; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Lee Arndt.
