St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave., will be having a different kind of Ash Wednesday service Feb. 17.

The priest will bless the ashes before cleaning his hands, putting on a face mask and sprinkling the ashes on the heads of the parishioners.

St. Elizabeth’s is having a soup sale. Payment is due with orders by Feb. 24.

Choose from chicken corn chowder, chicken noodle, beef barley and vegetable soup.

Pickup will be after Mass Feb. 27 and 28 in the parish hall.

St. Elizabeth’s is offering a new beginner low-impact aerobic class 5:30-6 p.m. Tuesdays Feb. 23-April 13. The church is also offering a low-impact aerobic class 6:15-7 p.m. Tuesdays Feb. 23-April 27.

The instructor is Karen Hoff. Temperatures will be taken at the door.
