Catasauqua: Morning Glories meeting set for Feb. 15
The Morning Glories of Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 Fourth St., will meet 10 a.m. Feb. 15 in the church sanctuary. Masks must be worn, and social distancing will be practiced.
If you plan to attend, please bring a drink for yourself. No food will be served.

Holy Trinity will hold its next Soup on Wednesdays initiative Feb. 17. The time is 4-5:30 p.m., or while supplies last.
Takeout soup will be handed out at no charge to anyone who comes. Each week will feature a different hearty soup.
The event will continue Feb. 24.

Holy Trinity is sponsoring a pork and sauerkraut takeout dinner 4:30-6 p.m. Feb. 20. The menu includes pork and sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, applesauce, rolls and chocolate chip cookies.
Tickets can be purchased after Sunday worship services or by calling Janice at 610-440-0073. The deadline for tickets is Feb. 14.
Cost at pickup is by donation, which will benefit Mrs. Nothstein’s Helping Hands Fund.

St. Mary’s Church, 122 Union St., will again be teaming up with Island Expressions and offering a winter grab-and-go meal event, which is perfect timing for Lent.
Orders are due by Feb. 21. Pickup will be 4-6 p.m. March 12 in the parish center.
The church and Island Expressions are offering pizza kits, homemade pierogies and homemade soups.
Each pizza kit comes with enough to make three pizzas. Crusts are homemade in the Lehigh Valley. Choose from plain, pepperoni or sausage.
Soups come in 15-ounce containers, and options include cream of tomato, cream of broccoli, loaded potato, New England clam chowder, Manhattan clam chowder, lobster bisque, cream of chicken or roarin’ crab.
Order forms are available on the church’s Facebook page or website, annunciationbvm.net. Send orders with payment by Feb. 21.
