Beth Ann Dymond

Beth Ann Dymond, 94, of Schnecksville, died Feb. 4, 2021, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She was the wife of the late Rev. R. Lee Dymond.

Born Oct. 12, 1926, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Frank Alan Gants, D.O. and Dr. Charlotte May (Dunkelberger) Theilacker, D.O., and the stepdaughter of the late William Theilacker.

A graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in horticulture in 1948, she earned her Master’s degree in education from Rutgers University.

She was an elementary school teacher, primarily in the Northwestern School District for 24 years before retiring in 1990.

She was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs.

She was an avid student and teacher of Tai Chi and Qigong for many years.

Her survivors include children Nancy L. Dymond (Walter Clark) of Bethany, Wayne County, C. Susan Dymond (Andrew Symons) of Allentown, Dr. Randel L. Dymond (Valerie) of Blacksburg, Va., Diana L. Dymond-Burns (Peter Burns) of North River, N.Y.; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Due to COVID-19 concerns, services will be held at a future date.
