Grade: 12
Family members: Parents, Ron and Meredith; brothers, Harrison and Reed (both in college)
Favorite subjec: AP Language and Composition because Mr. Tone was a wonderful teacher and built the foundation for my writing skills and abilities. Taking this class as a junior was critically important in terms of timing. Leaving HS with the knowledge of writing mechanics and analysis will serve me in college and beyond.
Activities: For all four years I have been involved in the following: I am currently editor in chief for Liberty Life, our school newspaper. I play singles on the tennis team. I serve as a mentor for my “little” for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Lehigh Valley. I have been active volunteering at the Boys and Girls Club of Bethlehem during summers and throughout the school year.
Next steps: I am currently working on applications for four-year universities.
Career goals: To work for a nonprofit organization in marketing and communications
Heroes: My dad because of his relentless pursuit of making the world his family lives in as perfect as possible. He has taught me how to be uncompromising in morality and humanity. He has always stressed that the most important thing in life is being a whole person, even in a broken world.
Hobbies: Tennis, volunteering with children, cooking, painting projects
Current Job(s): Food runner at Saucon Valley Country Club
Volunteer and community work: See above in activities.
Likes: Hot sunny days, traveling, curating music playlists, tacos
Dislikes: Onions, cooked or raw! Cold weather, country music
Greatest accomplishment (so far): Becoming editor in chief of my school newspaper
Advice for peers: Never make an important decision when you’re feeling insecure. Sleep on it and revisit the decision with a clear head and you’ll likely choose wisely.
