Sheckler Elementary School’s Valentine’s Day parties will take place Feb. 11.

Sheckler Elementary will be closed Feb. 12 and 15 for the Presidents Day holiday.

Sheckler is looking to hire a noncertified instructional aide. The main responsibility will be to provide assistance and support to classroom teachers in the delivery of the board-approved curriculum.

The workday consists of seven hours of paid work time and 30 minutes of unpaid/unassigned lunch.

The weekly curbside meal distribution runs 9:45-10:15 a.m. Thursdays in front of Sheckler. Five days worth of meals will be provided. Arrive with a cleared and cleaned trunk.

This is available for CASD residents ages 18 and under.

Sheckler needs three daily substitute teachers immediately. A valid Pennsylvania teaching certification is required.

The positions are for classrooms of kindergarten through grade 4 and teaching expressive art classes, such as music, art and gym.

Compensation is $130 per day.
