Mary H. Somers, 95, of Catasauqua, died Jan. 15, 2021, at home. She was the wife of the late William J. Somers.

Born in Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Mary (Vandergrift) McBride.

She was an inspector for General Ribbon Mills, where she made parachutes for World War II. She was an 18-year former employee of Brubaker Funeral Home Inc., Catasauqua.

She was a life member of the Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua.

She is survived by two daughters, Judy Silnik and Donna Somers and her companion Harry Graack; a brother, James McBride; two grandchildren, Sheri Hunter and her husband Donald and Scott Silnik and his wife Jen; four great-grandchildren, Donald, Ryan, Logan and Dylan; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Robert McBride.

Services are private.
