St. John’s United Church of Christ, Mickleys, 2918 MacArthur Road, will hold an ashes-to-go drive-thru event 9-11 a.m. and 4-6 p.m. Feb. 17, Ash Wednesday.

Masks must be worn. Ashes will be administered by the pastor, who will also be wearing a mask. In addition, the pastor will wear gloves and use a Q-tip to administer the ashes.

Reminder: Hokendauqua Park and Playground Association is holding registration for baseball and softball at the CWL and LVL levels for the 2021 season.

In-person sign-ups will be at Hokendauqua American Legion, 3739 American Legion Drive, 6-8 p.m. Feb. 5.

Bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate (for first-time players), proof of health insurance and contact information, including phone numbers and an email address.

Online registration continues until 8 p.m. Feb. 5.

HPPA will be hosting teams for K through 18U (girls) and K through 19 (boys). The player cannot turn 19 on or before May 1. Lehigh Valley League tryouts will be held for both girls (10U through 18U) and boys (Biddy through Knee Hi).
