DeSales University, in Center Valley, is a private, coeducational, four-year liberal arts Salesian, Catholic university, under the leadership of the Oblates of Saint Francis de Sales. Founded in 1965, the 550-acre suburban campus is located 50 miles north of Philadelphia and about 90 miles southwest of New York City.
A total enrollment of nearly 3,500 includes undergraduate day and evening students and graduate students. DeSales has approximately 135 full-time faculty members and offers more than 40 bachelor’s degrees, 12 graduate programs and more than 20 certificate programs in a wide range of disciplines. Many of these can be completed fully online.
Clarion University
Peters, Setar named to dean’s list
Alyson Peters and Stephanie Setar, both of Whitehall, earned at least a 3.5 GPA to be named to the dean’s list for the fall 2020 semester at Clarion University of Pennsylvania.
Bucknell University
Dean’s list is announced
Bucknell University has released the dean’s list for outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2020-21 academic year. A student must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean’s list recognition. The following students achieved dean’s list status.
Northampton: Drew Filchner, Class of 2022; Carly Masonheimer, Class of 2021
Whitehall: Aldo Alphonse, Class of 2021; Aries Contreras, Class of 2022
Located in Lewisburg, Bucknell University is a highly selective private liberal arts university that offers majors in the arts, engineering, humanities, management and social and natural sciences, along with broad opportunities outside of class, to its 3,600 undergraduates.
