A 26-year-old York man was killed when the vehicle he was operating collided with another vehicle around 4:35 a.m. Jan. 17 at the intersection on Hamilton Boulevard and Farmington Road, Upper Macungie Township.
According to Lehigh County Corner Eric Minnich, Wadnor Jean-Louis was pronounced dead by Deputy Coroner Rachel Tallarico at 5:54 a.m. at the scene.
An autopsy was performed Jan. 19 to determine the cause of his death, Minnich said.
According to a spokesperson Jan. 25 at the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office, the cause and method of Jean-Louis’ death was multiple blunt force injuries due to a motor vehicle accident.
According to Upper Macungie Township police, officers were dispatched to the intersection of Hamilton Boulevard and Farmington Road for a two-vehicle, head-on crash.
Police say upon arriving, Jean-Louis was found deceased and the driver of the second vehicle was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
Police are asking anyone who many have witnessed the accident to call them at 484-661-5911.
Good Will Fire Company, Trexlertown, and Cetronia Ambulance Corps personnel assisted at the scene.
